The Mission
What does it mean to “break the chain”? For some, it’s an unfortunate motorcycle maintenance issue. For others, it’s résumé padding for an aspiring circus career. But here at Broken Chain Photography, to “break the chain” means to bring an end to a cycle unyielding of benefit, and freeing oneself from the bonds it imposes. Charles Dickens said “we forge the chains we wear in life.” Those chains can be unmade, and must be if we are to reach our full potential. A tool as simple as the right picture can make that happen. Whether you’re an actor in need of fresh headshots to remain competitive in the industry, or a fashion model growing your portfolio, or a film production boosting your visibility before release, the right photo is an indispensable element in having a strong and positive impact on your target audience.
Because it’s not just a picture. It’s your story.
Here’s how it works.
At Broken Chain Photography, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all mentality. For that reason, we have devised a customizable package system to suit your budget and photography expectations. (NOTE: BTS and Movie Poster shoots do not work on a package system) Here is how the system works:

Editing
As a way of increasing efficiency and suitability to the various photographic genre options, Broken Chain Photography offers different tiers of editing to suit your needs. Please note that some photo packages, such as Portraits and Headshots, come standard with Tier 3 Editing. Here are how the tiers are set up:
Tier 1 Edits
This is for basic corrections to color and light. Quick and easy, ideal for candid moments, such as Behind-The-Scenes and live events.
Tier 2 Edits
This editing process targets color correction and basic effects, as well as basic Photoshop retouching to remove distracting elements. These are great for lifestyle shoots or products shot in the field.
Tier 3 Edits
These are extensive edits, often involving the adding of elements not involved in the original photograph, as well as advanced retouching to light, skin, hair, and clothing. This comes standard for Portraits and Headshots, our most demanding photo packages.
